Really Odd 2.2 cutting out problem
« on: 08 December 2011, 17:21:19 »

My car has taken to cutting out when it's windy  :o :o :o
As the car is buffeted by gusts of wind you can feel the engine stuttering.
It's fine out of the wind, BTW.
When decelerating, approaching tight bends and roundabouts/junctions, it cuts out unless i tap the accelerator pedal to keep it alive.
Any ideas where to look first????

Check the air intake trumpet, flexipipe & airbox for leaves or other debris that could possibly be choking the filter under 'forced draught' conditions & starving the engine of air? Also check all multiplugs for tight/firm fit  :-\
