Filthy driving conditions
« on: 30 December 2011, 21:12:01 »

M40 M42 M6 both ways over last 2 days and really terrible conditions out there with heavy spray. Glad to be back after that lot. Time wise not bad at all but concentration levels very high. No bad driving observed though - weather like this is a bit of a leveller.

Apart from the usual prats driving around with fog lights on I found the roads reasonably quiet, but the rain and spray did make concentration a high priority ::)

Trouble is, the van is shod with horrible Michelin Energy Savers and wet grip is not their forte :o

Hope you didn't go past Birmingham too quickly, the traffic jams are to slow you down to give you a chance to enjoy the picturesque scenery ;D ;D

We went past the scenery on way up but used the Toll on way back (always obey dynamic sat nav?) which is more pleasing on the eye
