eco and off button together for about 10 seconds
:ynope auto and off button to reset servos
but seeing as the weather is getting colder the fan will take longer to kick in when in auto mode :y

Did I not read somewhere recently that the system allows the temp to rise slightly before engaging the blowers? Therefore they don't start straight away?  ???

Sorry, maybe that last post isn't relevant for a 96 model  :-\

Will try the reset as battery was dead couple of days ago and just charged up, and keep an eye on time for blowers to kick in and outside temperature at the time it acts up

Thanks for replies

If set to Auto, and not on a Demist setting, the fans won't kick in until coolant temp is up above 20C.  Manually upping the fan speed, or selecting Demist, should bring fans on immediately

Ok thanks for tips. Do I do the reset with climate on and engine running then press the 2 buttons together ?
Also on the climate control issue, I have searched so apologies if I have missed it, when front window button pressed I get good strong air flow but when I press button for dash vents I get no air flow at all on both auto and high fan speeds ???

My car is possessed!!!!!
