engine noise
« on: 14 January 2012, 05:23:32 »

The Omega has running more than 150,000miles already. well, feel the engine is more noisy than before although I know Omega's is always not quiet.

any buddy knows about the anti-scuff agent stuff? any good reason to use it to make my omega a little bit quieter?

 cheers

have you tried using wynns lifter treatment.Try doing an oil & filter change and add some wynns lifter treatment, also is the breather system clean. :y

also put your location, model and engine details in your profile as you dont say what engine you have and will help other readers diagnose any further posts ;)

Rikkor, is it a Tapping Noise from the Lifters that you have, as I can't actually see where you have mentioned where the noise is coming from?

the engine is quite noisy especially when the engine is at idling to 2500rpm. engine runs well but not that quiet than before.  looks like the noise is from the crankshift.

I did engine overhaul 3 months ago
