Engine Oil, plugs & leads

Hi all,

My dad is looking to service his car (2000 2.5cdx Estate Petrol)

Where is the best place (price wise), to pick up these items please?

Vx engine oil
plugs
HT leads

iirc, did I see an offer on the oil 4x5ltr for £40??

Vx oil and plugs - from Vx on TC (4 x 5 lits for aroung £40 incl VAT)

Leads - Vx very very expensive - buy good quality pattern

I don't think it is necessary to change leads if it's just a service. Unless you suspect they're fubar'd?

Cheers for that guys.

My dad did say he has a misfire on 1 cylinder, which is prompting him to have the car serviced. He seems keen to want to change the leads although I've passed on your comments.
 
Does anyone recommend a set of pattern leads please, just in case he STILL wants to change them? ::)

Are the leads difficult to change, ie remove parts off the block to do it?
