Heated Seats, boot release and heater control buttons....
« on: 26 January 2012, 13:50:03 »

I've been to look at a  2001 cdx recently and it has a few issues that I wondered if anyone can give any advice on please.....

Both front heated seats do not work. The electric height adjustment works but no heat.
Is this likely to be a fuse or are the heater elements known for not working??

The boot release button on the dash does nothing and the led does not light when the boot is opened from the key.

The heater control buttons are all badly worn. I presume these are replaceable?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.....

Heated seats normally fail but may be fuse #14 under steering wheel.
Boot release button need holding down for app. 5 secs.
Heater buttons, common problem, ideally replace complete unit

seat heaters are most likely to be a problem with seats itself. If its the fuse, you are very lucky
