Idling Problem
« on: 27 January 2012, 22:27:05 »

Hi guys,

A couple of problems.
I have got a 2003 Omega 2.6 V6 elite.

When the cars is idling it seems to be slightly shuddering in the car (the same when in drive)as soon as i touch the accelerator very gentley it goes off by just lifting the revs up,
is there any way to turn the revs up slighty if this is the problem, its not that bad but bloody annoying

2nd problem is when i switch the car off i hear a sound like a blast of air for about 2 seconds comes from the front of car. Its like a release of air.
appreciate any help.
Thanks
This is the first omega i have own and dont know alot about them (own the car for 2 days)

Idle is controlled by engine ECU. Speed should be around 500RPM. Air is the self-levelling pump discharging on ign switch off, perfectly normal. Pump lives behind driver`s front wing

Idle is controlled by engine ECU.
could the ECU be faulty then, its not that bad but you know about when starting up or sitting at lights, only very slighty
