I'd be happy to help where I can. What needs doing to it?
I have to pull it apart as soon as I clear some space in the garage and see what really needs doing; it may or may not need a hone (depending on whether the pistons measure out OK vs. the bores), the crank may need a regrind and/or new crank, oil galleries may need drilling out, gallery plugs tapping and fitting, then it obviously needs bearings, balancing and the top end putting back on again.
Hm, sounds so easy when I say it like that

I've used Roe Engineering in Fleet before and been very happy. It's a proper "use the old pistons as ashtrays" type outfit but you can walk in there with an engine in bits (well, stagger, I guess, if it's a V8) and they'll happily give advice on what desperately needs doing, what's advisable and what's not, etc.
That sounds like the kind of place I'm looking for

Ta!
Not sure I could stagger in with the block, though - it's a bit heavy to pick up alone
