Tomorrow threatens to be a good day
« on: 27 February 2012, 22:49:36 »

Brother in law in Cornwall bought a BMW R1200 bike (paid about £12k!!) a couple of weeks ago and wants to give it a run out so he is coming up tomorrow (240 miles) and back Wednesday before he heads off to Laos.

This coincides with my agreement to enter a quiz night at the Hampshire Arms in Crondall tomorrow night with venison stew and mash.

Also Audi supposed to report back on my son's A3 - but that my the item that lets us down.

I need a good day after today laying out megabucks in deposits for my daughter's wedding, wedding insurance, photographers etc and it is not until September.

I actually fear for your sanity - I am already refusing to discuss weddings anymore and getting pretty grumpy about it all. Women just will not make quick decisions about anything apart from the man they choose!!! The minutae is just dreadful.

Don't blame you. Last time weddings were mentioned in this household I decided I needed to spend a few weeks in the garage rebuilding the car engine and just let Mrs. KW handle it. It was our wedding too. ;D

The average wedding apparently costs about £20k. If you have unforseen circumstances and have to resechedule then you may have lost deposits on all of the bookings. There is quite a lot to think about and accidents do happen. Obviously insurance does not apply if the couple call it off but for £70 to £100 say you have a bit of protection if heaven forbid there is an insured incident. I have my cover with "Equine and Livestock" trading as E & L funnily enough - animal passions no doubt.
