CCRT700 / CDC2 - "no maganine" message
« on: 05 March 2012, 14:54:20 »

I'm getting this message even though there is a full magazine present. Pressing the eject button on the CDC2 causes a slight clicking noise from the mag area but it wont eject.

Any ideas?

Ideally I'd like to get the thing working, but I'd settle for getting my CDs out in one piece  :(

Thanks - Rob

Sorry pal, not sure about the CDC2 but is there a white tab on the magazine that you can access? It's used to eject the discs from the mag but when I couldn't get the mag out of my CDC3 I 'persuaded' it using some small pliers on the tab.

Usually cartridge sense switch that fails - worth unplugging for 20 mins, refit, enter code and that "may" allow the cartridge to be ejected

thanks, if that fails can I get inside it in anyway other than without a can opener? I've got another one up and working - but my CDs are stuck inside this one.

Thanks

Far better if the mechanism can eject the cartridge itself than forcibly removing the discs
