Chiselled the other two collars off today.Hammered socket onto nut on front wheel, off it came.Hammered socket onto nut on rear wheel, socket slipped off - many times.Tried a 16mm socket instead, same result,it wont come off.
Any ideas how to get the remains off ? No point trying a locking key now as the nut isnt fit for purpose.Just need another brute force type idea of how to shift it. :-\

Enough space around the nut to get an Irwin bolt remover on it? Like this:

They've saved my bacon plenty of times.

Failing that, tack a nut on the end of it?

Honestly, pick up an Irwin bolt remover in a suitable size and it'll be off in seconds ;)

It will be a 25 mile round trip to get one though Aaron. Might have to if all else fails. :(
