A horn issue

Hi guys, it seems my omega is eating horns one by one, they work for two or three months, then they stop working. I've replaced it for the third time three months ago and it's dead again.
It's not that I'm using it so much to kill it....I barely do.
Is there some common issue with this or is it just me/mine car having apetite for horn destruction? Thanks

are you replacing the horn with new ones or old ones. they should last a lot longer than that, check the plug to make sure there is no volts when the horn is not pressed, will need a meter a low volt of around 2volts will not make the horn sound but will wear out the horn inside as it is constant.

I'm replacing it with new ones always and AFAIK there's no voltage between +/-  when horn button not pressed couse I've checked it before....but I'll check again, thanks

they are water proff, so that should make any problems, only other thing that can make them go is to high voltage any were from 15v to 24v. but that would ony be if you were using the horn with this volts. there is a pin in side to set horn sound, if it comes lose it will stop the horn from working, would just make a buzzing sound, but happening at the same time to two horns is a bit odd.

Problem fixed...for now. Pins were badly coroded as seen

A pair of new pin shoes, some insulation and I hope it'll do the job for some time

put some grease on the connections tape will keep water inside and rust them backup. :y
