Changing that bulb won't cure it. Check what bulbs are working when the fault shows but I expect it will be a wiring fault in the boot somewhere
got a new towbar plug going to change it tomorrow. might be all the rain been getting into the plug, not been going out at night but fogs work at back even with the fault just the brake light check pops up on display with the fogs on but brake lights still work.

changed the towing socket it was full of water, thanks for help all working again without a fault:y
