Converting auto to manual
« on: 18 April 2012, 21:46:15 »

Hi peeps, briefly what's involved in changing a 3.0 auto to manual?

My brother is considering getting an Omega, he prefers a manual but would buy a good auto then convert to manual.

I've got access to a pit and plenty hands so access is not a problem. I've done all the work on my migs including ABS ECU and exhaust manifold gasket (horrible), so I should be able to do the gearbox easy enough shouldn't I?

Oh and how long will it take?

Thanks peeps
