no the problem is i can not stand hamilton i knew him when he drove karts and he up set a few because of his antics..is a sniverling llittle sh1t..... :y

He may or may not be,but he is also imo probably the best driver since Senna.
he is crap albs cant drive to save his life  >:( >:( >:( >:(

So you can drive better than him?  ::)
yes why  :y :y :y

So why are you not bidding for F1 Championship?

Really Ralf your own personal opinions take over, all of the top current drivers, Vettle, Webber, Button, Hamilton, Alonso, if you remove their personalities there is unquestionable talent there.

Alonso for example, what a freaking idiot he is, can't stand him. But being a double world champion he knows his stuff.

Hamilton also a World Champion, he knows what he is doing behind a wheel at 200mph. Saying he cannot "drive to save his life", just shows your well  :-X
anyone can drive a computer car so dont tell me he is good james hunt was a lot better than him  :y :y :y :y :y

Absolute tosh he wasn't called Hunt the Shunt for nothing ;D ;D

An interesting discussion but shows how little many people have no idea what driving a real racing car is really like! Modern day F1 cars are extremely complex machines to drive with the driver having to make dozens of adjustments such as brake balance, KERS, radio etc. while racing at unbelievable speeds (to us mortals) with 24 other cars, inches apart. To say any F1 driver is useless or has no talent is an unbelievable ignorance - F1 drivers are at the pinnacle of motorsport and among the best racing drivers in the world - they don't get to be in F1 lightly. Sure, some are better than others but's that's exactly what it's all about - to find out who is best. Quite a few years ago I had the priviledge of driving a 2.0L Palmer Audi single seater around Brands Hatch and it's no walk in the park believe me!! Concentration required is unbelievable and it's physically exhausting - I was absolutely breaked after 12 laps!
At the end of the day it doesn't matter what a drivers personality is like, it's what they do that counts. :y

Oh yes, as for BTCC, love him or hate him, Plato is one the best. I watched it last night and thought he was brilliant. Let's face it, incidents like that happen frequently in BTCC and ALL the drivers are guilty of the odd misdemeanor and a bit of gamesmanship at times. ::)

I also watched it last night.

As far as I could see, it was just a typical BTCC race  :y
If Sheddon couldn't handle a bit of argy bargy then he should have moved over.
As for Sheddon saying in the interview afterwoods that "I can brake when and where I want", that smacks of a arogent little sh*t who spat his dummy out  ::)
At the end of the day, Plato was faster and Sheddon was blocking him by brakeing when it wasn't required.
If Sheddon is upset at that, he should have raced 25 years ago when Andy Rouse and co was racing.
He would be blubbing to mummy after every race  ::)

As for non contact sport, Yeh ok Gordon  ::) ::)

Amazing really is. I don't like this driver, or that rider, I like this rider or driver because of this that or the other.

...points. Thats it, there's nothing else. I'd of punted Sneddon, no problem at all. WhoopsAAAYAA. ;D

Face the music later. Not sure I'd have waited as long as Plato did either.

you will find most of the adjustment is made by computer from the pit lane not by the driver ;D

just to make a point, didnt we see a mere mortal try and drive an F1 car on a popular tv program called "top sprocket gear" :P
and did we not see that he could basically not drive the car?

its bad enough at indoor go-karting when all the regulars go and i dont think they're formula 1 drivers are they?

anyway, point made...i'll observe once more  :y
