Stange speaker problem

Good morning all!
Changed my front speakers yesterday for better (Kenwood) ones. After replacing the driverside , there was still music
coming from all speakers (new one included). After changing the passengerside there is no sound at all. All speakers
seem to be dead , only the line-out to my subwoofer works. And that gives a stange kind of music  ;D
Does anyone know where to look for any problems? Or a way to check the speakers one by one?

No , there is nothing from Bose installed. Got the original radio replaced a while ago for a MP3 one.
Tried another radio yesterday but the same result....? Does the car have any electronics which could
block the signal to the speakers maybe?

The satnav on the Ncdc 2013/15 can overlay the audio with information but sounds like a wiring problem too me  :-\

Disconnect the speakers one by one with the radio in until it works again. You have almost certainly got one of the speaker wires touching earth, which will trip all the speakers out as a safety measure

Sounds to me like you have made a wiring error somewhere that has caused the amplifier in the head unit to shut down - or worse. I'd be retracing my steps and making sure that everything is correctly connected and nothing is shorting.

I'll take a multimeter tonight to see if there are any shorts in the line. I tried the other (spare) radio with the last speaker disconnected , but it still didn't work. I'll see what i can find tonight , maybe I can get a external soundsignal over the speakers, one by one. I'll let you guys know!

Best to start checking the wiring as you say with no HU, start by checking the connector at the back of the HU, each speaker one by one, looking for 4 ohms direct to each one, also check you have not trapped any wires somewhere (Screws?) and you haven't dislodged the foot well connector.

Once you happy with it all you could always each speaker with some croc clips from an MP3 Player iPod, Portable radio headphone out, wont give you much sound but give some idea whats going on.

That kind of information doesn`t help - be specific.

What makes and models of radios are we talking here ?

Also check that contacts from the replacement speakers are not touching the door frame and shorting out.
