On LINE order for parts OEM
« on: 02 May 2012, 10:16:39 »

well after a resonably decent run home(240kph+) recently i blocked up a Cat (or it was already blocked, who would know, and in this country blowing a cat or any small animal would get jail time)that blew the rocker cover gaskets out... (after the EML light came on) this after melting the feed hose to the air injection system, anyway it has now started to run like crap. i pulled a couple of plugs today and they are covered in oil, yes i know and i spent hours week before fixing this. removed the AIS blocked eveything (yes its still plugged in) etc. not sure if my cover repair didnt work or its just residue and will clean up? Oh yes a few codes poped up regarding the ram sytem, turns out both were disconnected, all sorted now.. WTF, anyway with the symptems i origionaly had i figured that the blocked cat with the back pressure blew out the cam covers gaskets, this now filled up the spark plugs with oil that created enough resistance to shag the coil/dis pack. the problem is my car (2000 2.5) is only one of a handfull here and I cant just walk down to the local parts store, yes i can get the local (Holden) dealer to bring the bits in but unless hes going to buy my drinks first, aint going there (that was a getting shagged up the...joke) so im now looking for a new coil, leads, bloody cover gaskets so woes the best on-line supplier?  bit over it all!   anyway sorry for my rambling my question is,
im looking to buy a Scania 8x4 with a 20ton crane, any ideas?

EGR irrelevant; will only change pressure in intake, not cam cover.

Any gases via the EGR go straight to the inlet.

Blocked breathers can  :y

Hate to think what the shipping costs are going to be on a Scania 8x4 with a 20ton crane.
