There is hope yet
« on: 04 May 2012, 00:58:00 »

The Czech President has made a very well thought out speech today. Having lived under the old USSR, what he says will hopefully be the first of many more nails in the coffin of the EUSSR.  :y :y :y

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/9244156/Eurozone-debt-crisis-Europes-nations-must-break-free-from-the-Brussels-straitjacket.html

I feel that there is the beginnings of a tide against the: "We know what best for you, so don't question the lack of democracy in the EU and the effective dictatorship from the core countries of France and Germany".  >:( >:( >:(

This is inevitable from the every increasing number of intrusive EU directives spewing from Brussels, falling living stands as a result and the lack of democratic process.  >:( >:( >:(

The only political party in the UK at the moment in-tune with this tide is UKIP.  :y :y :y

I suspect that there are more countries in the euro zone that are disenfranchised with Merkosy than we suspect. Denmark, Sweden, Hungary and the Czechs to name a few EU states. Add in some of the PIIGS (except Ireland) and France next week and things might change.

How about all the member states debt being written down in return for loans to kick start growth along with labour reforms (fancy words that mean pay less, sack easier for less/nothing)? It is only money when all said and done.

Finally, neither Merkollande or Holkel have a good ring to them so maybe France will distance itself from Germany. Perhaps the Germans ought to exit the Euro and adopt the Mark and let the euro sink to its correct level?
