With DSG, you're paying for convenience. The stuff has to be held in store, and with the price drops on IT stuff, you have to pay the premium.

Go to the big online cheap places, and be prepared for real grief if something goes wrong...

so far ebuyer have been excellent, have returned a few things to them...  a mate sent his 250GB lacie drive back some time ago due a a fault, they replaced it no problems.

As for the convenience thing...

I ordered a USB KVM from scan.co.uk on a wednesday evening (after 7pm), arrived before 9 the next day on standard delivery!!

Scan can be hard work if you have a problem.
They used to have a habit of not answering the phones on the tech support lines.
Not a prob for me as theyre only a couple of miles away but from the other end of the country could be.

Most of the cheap online places you either cannot ring, or have to hold for hours.  Personally, I rarely use PC World etc unless they have something at good price (rare, but does happen) or I need fast.

But then, I've learned that when things go wrong, ebuyer, komplett, savastore, scan, bluepoint etc can be a real pain.
