SWMBO isn't particularly a doggie person and wasn't overly excited by the idea. It was going to be my dog and I had to do the related things like walking, feeding, training and most importantly clearing up after... Until they met last weekend

I've got to admit though, I think we are going to be very lucky. She comes from very good lines (we have a 5 generation pedigree "Family Tree") and it contains an awful lot of Field Trial Champions She should be fairly responsive and easy to train

I know some friends down the road who got a Poodle pup last year and she was a complete nightmare for them

I'm still amazed at her natural instincts for loyalty and retrieving... She's only 8¹/₂ weeks old and is amazingly good!

At least you know they're all gone from this litter

The mum was very attentive, even more so this last weekend when it was one to one. We are looking forward to finding out if they recognise each other when they next meet

She's really settled in now and is doing really well. Last night was the first night she didn't wee in her crate although we didn't go to bed until nearly 2 so that may have some impact on it

Today she has had the freedom to come in and out of her crate all she likes and has been really good with no accidents
