Had one of the first ones on my estate. Bright orange with the high saddle roll bar. Had some of the happiest days of my life on that bike, loved it to bits. My best mate and I modified ours with racing bike front forks to make them look more like the choppers in Easy Rider, he was Peter Fonda to my Dennis Hopper. I well remember a certain young lady friend used to like riding with me as pillion passenger, I can still see that pert little ass going up and down in front of me. Those were the long summer days!!!

Well Dennis Hopper, you would sooner of had some young ladies bottom wigglin around ifn front of you than to take notice of what it told you on the seat! 

Too right Darth, never mind the warning on the strap that seat was made for two.  Ghetto blaster hanging of the back bar blasting out Led Zeppelin my lady friend and I heading up the fields in the bright sun shine, Oh for a time machine!!!

I wasn't allowed one. Not practical enough.   Got a Raleigh racer instead which,incidentally, I've just ridden 10 miles on, for the first time after years languishing in the shed and an evening of TLC.

Doubt I'd get far on a chopper these days, so my parents were right, as usual. Could do with a few lower gears for the hills. Don't remember noticing that when I was 13.

I had a blue one with mag wheels I tout it was the mutts nuts and to be honest it was

also R.I.P Alan Oakley the guy who designed the chopper who died in may this year
