Always founds that Clarks shoes always last ages, bit expensive but they'll outlast all the cheap crap by miles 

...as tested by my 6-year-old boy who gives his shoes a good workout every day 

I have to agree, Miss Vamps was a bugger for going through shoes all through primary school, using them to play football and as brakes for the bike / scooter or whatever

Also for several winters used to get her some Doc Martin's and another make that I can't remember, the advantage we had was that she would wear big and bulky, like the boy,s...   Now she is in big school and suddenly gone all girlie she is into girlie flimsy style shoes but at least she does not play football in them.....
