Breakdown cover. Result
« on: 05 July 2012, 13:18:33 »

Been with the AA for 15 years on a "continuous membership" plan. Had the renewal literature through the post, been upgraded to "Gold" at allegedly no extra charge ::) Annual premium £188.06. Straight on the phone saying I want to cancel as their website is giving hefty discounts to new customers. Chap on the line immediately reduced the premium to £112.00.  8)
Amazing what the threat of cancellation can achieve :y

Well done Rob, same here, every year have to go through the motions, just got mine down from something like 121 to 74 notes, also seems to help if you haven't claimed for more than 2 years, can normally squeeze down a bit more.
