on all the doors it has i think there called curb lights can these be changed for led bulbs in colour ? and where and what ones would i need

Why would you want to? Those lights are designed to give you as much light as possible over a wide area

Although LED's offer a high lumen output for the physical size, the light they produce is directional so it will have the opposite effect to what you are expecting.

One word
AVOID
If you want more light find suitable position on door, rewire and put one more bulb ponting from bottom of the door downwards

I had a couple of White LED 501's laying around and tried fitting them to the Light unit in the roof but these didnt work as the have a fade system on it and the LEDs really dont like fading voltage as they just blink constantly lol so to be honest try replacing them for new bulbs as mine are quite bright i dont know about anyone elses?
