Newent Meet - 2012

Is less than 8 weeks to go.... :o

I do have a few cheque deposits for this Meet  :y still plenty of places left though :)

A separate thread "The Confirmed List" will be updated by myself as I have done in the passed when I recieve members deposits.

Whilst I realise the weather could have stopped people from attending The Lakes, I do feel that not having a "Confirmed List" did not help, as no one really knew who was attending if anyone!..

Maybe that could have been down to me, in which case it won't be happening again..

Newent is a Lovely family site which will be our 6th yearly Meet there, which speaks for itself. Plenty of other things to do in that area if sitting at the site does not appeal to you :y

I already have the quiz done, though it might have a Keswick twist - we forgot to do the quiz at the Lakes ;D ;D ;D

I must be honest, not staying and messing with cars at Newent made it far more relaxing, IMHO.


Lastly, if you are a girlie, or you wish to bring your girlie partners, the "OOF Widows" often arrange a shopping trip to Gloucester Docks, or Cinema or something. All ladies invited, of course, though 1 in 4 will obviously need to drive.

i could be an off girlie for a day and i take a dare ;)

gutted and sorry we missed the lakes so wanted to meet H21 and a few others not met yet but alas work blah blah but not going to miss the newent bash and we got a tent this year so no having to go early to the hotel before we get locked out just gotta get off my arse and send drizzle a cheque :y

We want to come but can't make the decision until nearer the time. Depends on my financial situation as I'm starting the Kent area in the next few weeks
