This is tragic....
« on: 17 July 2012, 20:04:42 »

There was a major landslip at a road tunnel near Beaminster, Dorset, which is about 12 miles from where I live, on Saturday 7th July after all the rain that brought chaos to this area.  The tragedy is that more than a week later they have found a car buried with bodies inside...  :'(

Apparantly they searched the area after the landslide, but checked again after a couple from Somerset were reported missing and were traced to the area via band and credit cards!  :o

Apparently the car was crushed to bottom of the windows level and the mud was "chest high". The body they "think" may be inside they cannot remove until the mud is removed from within the car.

Given that information I would imagine/hope that the end was pretty fast in as much as crushed rather than suffocated .. :(
