Corsa Brakes.....Anything missing?
« on: 28 July 2012, 14:39:12 »

Do I have all the parts required to change the discs and pads on a 53 plate Corsa?

I have absolutely no idea if it's a Corsa A...B...C..............X..Y...Z..

I note there are no pins or shims...........and the pads are not identical.

Should have (if my memory serves me right) :y

Don't forget to clean the discs with brake cleaner (or another solvent) to remove any oil traces from the packing :y

Thanks, LD. I recently changed the rear pads on the MV6.........and I had to reuse the pins. Looks like there are no retaining pins on the front brakes. :y

There are no pins on the front of your Omega either  ::) ::)
If a Corsa is anything like its bigger brother (ie Astra) there's an anti rattle clip that goes over the top of the caliper & pads.  :-\

This little lot set me back £65......(sadly no TC)

GM should include the copperslip for that money. Tight bastards.
