digital display?

just bought a new car as the last mv6 was past its best the new one is a 99 mv6 manual, the question i want to ask is its got a different digital screen in the dash its like a half size screen with smaller letters but ive seen later registered cars on v and w reg with the bigger screen like my old r reg mv6 is this correct or could it of been modified? thanks

It sounds like the correct screen for the car, what model stereo do you have?

yeah thats the one, it came without a stereo, how come some later ones ive seen had the other type of screen in, is it for different features?

ah ive just had a look at the other displays in that link you supplied and it looks more like the ccrt one.

Doubt its a GID, it will be CCRT.

CCRT can be configured to be a MID or a TID. No point in the latter setting, as you'll have all the sensors.

What Stereo are you fitting?

ive put in the ccrt700 in out of an elite and everything seems to work as normal

why did the cars have different displays in on the same model year? the car also has a different looking aerial to my other car but looks original.

Probably, but it it only works on O2 or Vodaphone network. If you're getting a new SIM, leave it in the full sized card it comes in ie don't snap it out.  :y :y
