Coolant temp low volt

Hi all,

I got a failure massage as above I know the location of the sensor (coolant bridge) don't know the exact meaning of the massage though... :o please somebody here inform me in point of working of coolant sensor and the meaning of "low " or "high voltage" massage. Thanks,

Low and High voltage codes on sensors are normally one of the wires is disconnected, or tuching something it shouldn't. It can be a failed sensor.

Disconnect sensor and ECU, then measure the connectivity of the wires, and also that they are not grounding out anywhere. If that looks good, replace sensor.
