So NASA successfully landed a 1ton vehicle on Mars

That alone is an achievement, but watch this little video on how it lands.

The very last bit, its like something from Sci-Fi film, incredible work!

Truely amazing.

The fact that the "car" is has been named Rover is a bit of a worry though.

I think after a landing like that, the head gasket is the least of their worries!

So much could have gone wrong there, that's also what's so impressive, it all worked as it should!

There was a thing on the TV a couple of weeks back - not sure which channel though.
