Never had any issues with my old 2.5 veccy  :) they were slated by clarkson like you say but that just made them cheaper to buy  :y

Yeah they are nice cars especially the 2.5/2.6 CDX veccy but never have been so keen on the bubbly one even so better than most of its rivals Clarkson seriously has a problem with Vauxhall although not with the HOLDEN Monaro/VXR8 as he calls them..

God awful car. Just not as bad as the Vectra-C.

Vectra B 2.5 cdx hatch in black ... manual , had it for 3 yrs . Still like them now but each to their own  :P ;D ... no issues with pulling to the left as they were also slated for  :y

Colleague had a 2.5CDX Veccy-B, more than once we were stripping it in the carpark at lunchtime.

Too clostrophobic for a large car, and woefull handling, even with soft front tyres
