Cem, I have your kitchen appliances..
« on: 07 August 2012, 18:59:14 »

Well, not yours, but my new Beko washing machine and Beko tumble dryer both turned up today (slightly belated birthday pressies from my parents who, quite clearly, spoil me rotten still)..

Only took half the afternoon to haul all the crap out from under the kitchen sink, find the isolator tap, turn off the old washing machine, heave it out, un plumb it, move the new one in, reinstate the water and put all the kitchen carpet tiles back down again ;D oh and heave the old machine outside in the hopes that Currys do, actually, come back and remove it - since I paid for disposal and they couldn't be bothered to hang around the extra five minutes for me to find the isolator and unhook the old machine  ::)

P.S. If it blows up in short order (the old Phillips machine has lasted since 1999 and still works fine, albeit stinks something rotten) I shall blame you, personally, Cem ;) ;D

Pretty much - given the temperatures he's posted recently I think I'd have turned into a fireball as soon as I stepped off the plane, anyway ;D
