That coin tray/draw thing under the light switch

Any tips on to how stop the damn thing opening as and when it wants to?

Bend it down about 180 degrees, hit it with a 4lb hammer, rip the hinge off and throw it away. It never opens after this microadjustment.

Either that or adjust the catch. ;)

It very nearly ended up on the A127 this morning....

How do I tweak the catch?

Alternatively you can be heavy handed like me and rip the catch off completely (by accident). Now I can only get into it with the help of a pen or other such object.

I couldn't be ars*d fiddling with the catch and so, in a fit of desperation & frustration, used a couple of bits of black double sided tape (the kind to affix trim bits to the exterior) on the right side of the open box.  Theres just enough 'stickieness' to ensure it stays shut without breaking a nail to force it open.

Worked for me anyway....   :y
