Places to see

Heading to Scarborough on Friday for 3 nights, staying at the blue dolphin. Haven't stayed in a caravan since I was a kid so should be different :)

As I don't know the area is there anywhere in particular we should visit?

Whitby's nice, but don't bother with the Abbey, it's a bit boring unless you like that kinda thing.

Whitby
North Yorks Railway
Aidensfield (Goathland) if you were into Heartbeat
If you have kids the beach in Scarborough is pretty traditional, even has donkey rides....

The whole area is fantastic..... :y :y :y

If you go to Whitby there is a fantastic old steam bus which does trips round the town, great fun especially down the hills when you get some 'blow back' from the boiler..........I cant remember the name :-[ :-[ but you can't miss in if you go down the the main pier..... :y :y
