my battery went flat on my 1997 elite 3.0 ,, charged it up refitted, once done i restarted the car from cold seems to run alot smoother than before,, is this down to the battery, by  the way the battery i have found to be faulty so i have a new on arriving tommorow,,

all i can think is that i had a new exhaust fitted from cat to back,, but it was not the oringinal type with two rear pipes but a single pipe 2.5.

could it be that the ecu reset it self to match the exhaust or somthing like that,, its not me it does ru a lot smoother from cold i was just wondering weather the battery does effect running and performance
any comments welcome.. alsohave a v6 cam locking kit up for grabs used once .. offers
