A couple of question about what is normal behaviour.

When I unlock the car with remote all interior lights come on, but not for long. If I open either front door just the low level door lights come on. Rear doors the rear reading light for the side the door opens comes on.

I imagine the main interior light should come on when doors open? Can anyone tell me in the above is normal?

Thank you, as I suspected :-)

Does anyone know how it is controlled? I guess it is not just by the switch as that seems to manage to turn on the low level doors lights. Is it another Tech 2 programming thing?

Driver's is a double contact switch ......at least my Omega is & the Senators were before it.

I'll try and swap and then investigate if both contacts are working.

Just taken all 4 door door switches out, 2 wires on each which both close to ground through the fixing screw. In my case only 1 pole was doing this - some WD40 and vigorous cycling of the switch and they now all work :-)
