mine is fitted on radiator on n/s even though it has cruise

Different pump, different task .......  ;) ;) That one is to circulate coolant when the engine has been stoppped when hot to prevent hot spots on the engine.  :y

My 95 Opel omega mv6 has both the pump in question and cruise fitted. The coolant pump seems to be fitted to most omegas here in norway. Probably due to our cold winters and the omegas mediocre heater.

That is not the pump currectly under discussion.  That circulates coolant round the radiator after engine shut down, the auxiliary pump pushes coolant through the heater matrix after shut down.

Must type much faster!!

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.
