Change fuse message-Indicators not working
« on: 10 September 2012, 13:19:11 »

Hi everyone
I have a strange problem that I hope someone can help me out with ASAP.

Couple of weeks ago my alternator died and at the as same time the battery light warning came on when it happened, I got the message to change the fuse for the brake lights. No problem...after finally coming to the conclusion that I had to change the alternator which I did and the fuse for the brake lights too (TWICE) I still get the message to change the fuse and now the indicators are not working but the hazzards do and the high beam is working too. When I use the arm to try the indicators there is nothing! All bulbs are good. Just the message to change the fuse and no indicators.

Any ideas anyone...This would be a huge help if someone can point me in the right direction where to start.

I have the 98 2.5 V6 CD Petrol.

hazard switch is faulty, thats why indicators dont work, try hold the hazard switch very gently in and try indicators then, common fault

fairly certain brake message prob is also brakelight switch, :y
