Seem to remember something like if your contract was up and you wanted to leave, they could offer you to keep the box to watch all the Freeview Channels plus the Gold Channel for a £1 a month, with or without Phone Line.

Not sure if its still the Case.

I though you could Freeview on Sky minus Channel 5 or something like that for free with a Sky Box? or has that all changed now?

Just to be 100% clear.

Freeview is only available via an aerial. That includes BT Vision which uses Freeview in conjunction with an internet connection.

The Free channels via satellite from Sky are collectively called Freesat.

That just leaves cable - which as it's a subscription service is neither Freeview, Freesat or Free at all as you have to pay.

I am right aren't I?
