After mooching around on here as many of us do i'm left wondering how many languages Debs speaks?
   C'mon girl 'fess up!!!!!!! :)

She is a clever girl; I can only speak a smuttering of French, a tiny bit of Maltese (born and lived on the Island for a total of 5 years), and yes reasonable academic English (require it at university!), along with good old fashioned 'street' English including all the delighfully unsavoury words that no lady should utter....usually when encountering that nut or bolt that must be undone but is in a most unaccessable location or/and won't fxxxxxx budge! ;D ;D

Lizzie Zoom :y

English and a little French computer languages however.....

Malta - they speak English don't they?

I don't remember, haven't been back since a baby - one of those huge unseen group of immigrants (yes I am classed as such) of BFPO children, so born on crown property in Malta.

Yes, I likewise a Royal Navy baby with a dual Maltese birth certificate. Went back at 10 years old and lived there for almost 3 years.  The Maltese do speak English well, but Maltese is still there widespread (on the Island) official language. :D

Lizzie (Maltese) Zoom  ;D ;D

My birth certificate is British - it is interesting as I can never be English, definately British and if I wanted could go Maltese
