Fine around town.Go on to motorway and within 10 miles dash light comes on.
Stop and restart the light stays out
Any ideas?

All tyres / wheels the same size and pumped up to the same presure ?

Everything o.k.
Tyres are 245 40 18 front
               245 45 18 rear.

Dodgy wheel speed sensor ?
Might be worth giving sensors and serrated rings a clean,it might just cure it. :-\

Tyres are 245 40 18 front
               245 45 18 rear.

40 profile on the front and 45 on the back may be the cause, the tyres have a different sized overall diameter...

Indeed. Might well be the difference in tyre size upsetting it. Only way to know for sure is to read any codes from the ABS ECU.
