Inlet manifold removal
« on: 01 October 2012, 11:45:09 »

Started to strip down for a cam cover gasket and stat change, but cant see how to disconnect the injector loom  to remove the manifold.

Sorry guys, but didn't want to mess about too much, so any help much appreciated.

Once electrical connecter is undone along with the securing bolts,it requires a bit of manouvering around to get it clear.

Pull forward towards front of engine to allow the edges of manifold to clear then lift o/s edge up to clear and remove. Its a tight fit but will come away, but only in the right place

There are numbers on top of the manifold for the pots, on some black plastic. Follow this back to the bulkhead, under the scuttle as Albs says there is a big connector  :y
