Greece - or worse. Hes treading water tbh imo.If they turn the economy round before the election (doubtful at the moment) they should win.If not - Balls (possibly aided & abetted by Cable) will be at the treasury, and then we are in trouble worse than our worst nightmares.

The speech in itself was very well written by a lady poet no less, well delivered. I found the mention of his son and father rather cynical, no CRINGING, ain't going to get my sympathy vote. :(
Yes, we would love all our children to have his education HOW MUCH. ??? My eldest son was lucky enough to go to Oxford, gain a first with the years prize for the best thesis and a DPhil, by hard part time work and study, not given it on a plate, local comprehensive and six form college.
This country is in a mess caused by years of Labour mis-management, Brown and Blair should be shot. Yet to recover the books we must attack benefits ???, to a certain extent YES, not the pensioners or needy but the single mother with 5 kids all under 11 from 3 absent fathers living the life of riley ( we have one next door but one, I can't afford a 50" plasma smart TV!! she had one delivered!!! >:( >:() To balance the books let's start with stopping the £50 million a day to europe and the £10 Billion a year in foreign aid. :) :) :y

A party political speech that crossed a Bulldog with a Shitsu with the obvious outcome. ;D ;D

I never bothered listening to his speech as IMHO you know when he is lying is lips are moving.  :-[

No doubt he told people the true facts, his lifelong convictions and his vision for the future, as that's what his focus groups told him to say in yesterday's briefing.  :o :o :o :o

His lying, cheating and squirming over an EU referendum, to me shows you the real Cameron.  His only real principle is to win power and hang on to power at all cost. What he is going to do for the good of the country now he has that power, I'm still none the wiser on and I don't think he is either.  ::)

I have yet to work out weather Cameron or Osborne is "Wooster" and I can't see a "Jeeves" anywhere.  ???

The best complement I can come up with for this Government is that they are just not quite as left wing and bad as the last lot.  :(

Sink or Swim - They will sink, where they are coasting into a Sterling crisis which will be any time from the Chancellor's November Budget statement onwards.  >:(

:D Its the 'speach' that baffles me....is it a new cross bred fruit? ;D ;D ;D

Cam actually looked into the eyes of the audience and was to my view open and honest. He gets my vote again cos I do not trust anyone with close set eyes and ideas that are spouted without any idea of where the funds are to come from.... Labour does its usual trick of asking us to 'trust' them for another round of their same old policies. Borrow and pay later...... No way, once (or more)bitten twice shy...
 ;)
Otherwise I concur totally!  >:( Foreign aid should be halted because its the same old beggars every time who demand...yes demand assistance and loans that are never repaid. There are more countries who could contribute (laugh) but do not because they have more financial acumen and there wealth stays in their countries. Add to problem that they breed like rabbits whose offspring then go on to do the same from a very young age and there lies the root of the problem. It does not make this country look good by giving our hard earned wealth away.....it makes look a easy touch for those love to beg! They also, after a large hand out, then have the gall to appear again the next year for more of the same......
I simply turn the channel over when any advert now comes on or make a cuppa. Perhaps if the massive amount of money spent on the ads, usually fronted by some well heeled celeb or worse...a student..... were put into the fund they would not need so much?
If it were stopped or even suspended for 5 years the national debt would be resolved and we all would have more in our pockets.
Think about that one. Why borrow money from the EMF only to give to them????????? Where is the logic or financial 'prudence' (joke...just used Browns word) in that? Feel a blood boil coming on  >:( >:( >:(

This about the foreign aid and europe never seems to be an issue with them and seems to get brushed under the carpet  >:( A logical way to balance the books , what the hell are we all tightening our belts while giving away billions and they refuse to stop giving away money we cant afford , and more to the point why dont we get a vote on it  >:(:-\
Camorons does not get my vote , imo they are a sinking ship and have been for some time .

Bear in mind, all these speeches are to the conference. These are cut and dried conservatives who would still stand and applaud if Cameran said all the men in the hall would be castrated, and all the women will grow beards, if you get my drift.

Just empty words, written by someone anonimous. All parties the same. All designed, as a previous poster claimed.....to stay in power and pull in top wages !!!!
When it boils down to it....stuff you lot, we are ok >:(

The only way to run any budget, from domestic level upto national level, is from a conservative viewpoint.

His lips must have been copied from the Labour party then? The next comment will likely be that he, like Milliband cannot lie straight in bed either.

Who give a s*it...Labour screwed the country for 13 years and now its simply someone elses time but it's very doubtful that Cam will manage to do as much damage even if he stays in power for as long......
My vote goes to Cam because at least he does explain where the money is going to come from! All Milliband could do was to state that he will do this and that but NO information on where the funding would come from. Why not? Only reason I can think of is that its a cast iron certainty that it would be the great Labour trend of once again BORROW BORROW BORROW.
