While driving across Leicester SH(C)ity.
« on: 22 October 2012, 17:11:43 »

 ::) :D
Am I the only one, or one of a very few who approaches road junctions correctly only to be forced to brake hard when one of those 'better than men' drivers totally ignore the 'give way to your right' rule and barge through whilst giving you a look that kills and the usual mouthful af abuse with the finger in the air (ready for a nose pick maybe?) because they were right and it was you, driving safely, in the right place and lane, at the right speed....even indicating correctly was wrong? How is it that most of their cars had the drivers door, some even the rear doors caved in? I won't mention the rear ends with the obligatory 'pole' dent or front with the busted light and bent bumper. Do they ever learn from theior errors or are they just in the belief that because they are female we 'gentlemen' will all simply give way? Who in hell gave them the idea that they are always right even when they are wrong? As for being the better drivers....yeh.....in their dreams (and our nightmares) :D
Or is it that in Leicester different rules apply? By the way....how do some of them, as big as they are steer, let alone get into their usually small matchboxes? Is that why they cannot brake or steer?  :D
Enlighten me please..............
AND, has any other city got as many driving (HAHA its aiming really) schools as here?
YEP....I also admit that I do know quite a few excellant women drivers.......its just that they are a very tiny (in percentage not size) minority around here.
If ever there was a reason to win the lottery it would be to move out of this east midlands toilet. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Grin and bear it???? Who said that? ::)
Contoversial enough??????????;)

Same round here but much more congested. I have things like that happen daily (several times most days.)
Most recent one which springs to mind was - I was just entering a mini roundabout and a young woman drove straight out from my left and turned to her left so she was in front of me.I stamped on the brakes and just as I was six inches off her back bumper she noticed that my car existed.
I then had the hand signals the yelling waving because I was too close to her,because she was oblivious to the fact that I had just avoided smacking hard into the back of her car because she didnt even bother looking before driving onto the roundabout.
They should be shot in front of their families. ::)

My daughter lives in Braunstone Frith, so I get to experience what it's like to drive in Bangladesh Leicester on a fairly regular basis.
However I have the advantage that I was a despatch rider in Central London back in the early eighties, and my weapon of choice back then was a GS1000G (which meant I owned the road)....so there ain't much that scares me  ;D ;D

It aint the damage that worries me Martian....its the repair cost and the threat that the insurers would write it off than repair it!
See from the struck out Bangla word that someone else know Leicester too.......have a look today ....its even worse ::)
 ;D ;D ;D As for EMD.....that man has sense  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Its the toilet of England where the dreggs seem to prefer to move to from across the eastern/southern water :( Why can't they be stopped or sunk?
