Radio comes on by it's self!
« on: 27 October 2012, 15:33:29 »

Hi everyone,

My radio has come on a couple of times by it's self when parked & locked with alarm set. Also the travel master started up when I switch the ignition on earlier today. Has anyone come across this before and have a solution to this, per chance?

Cheers,

Paul

Happens to mine too, and its a pita! It's a CCR2006.
Try pulling the fuse for a while to reset it, but make sure you have the code. Sometimes that's enough, for a while at least. Otherwise you may need to remove the unit altogether for a total 'reboot'.

I forgot to say that the radio is a CCR2006.

It has been switched off via battery disconnection and re-coded, still did it all "Jimmi Hendrix" load at 3am according to by neighbor  ;D
