Welcome to OOF  :y

Can't really help with the light, but if you do the 'pedal trick' as outlined in the maintenance guides, and post up the results, then one of the more knowledgable members will be able to help  :y

If its the pre cat efficiency codes bringing the light on, it won't affect the mot.

Do the pedal trick, and post up results, then we can advise.

Do NOT replace the cats without us saying so, as we know these cars better than exhaust places and backstreet garages. And dealers :P

He's right though, many a member changed the cats for no benefit.
