3.0 v6 Oil Change amount

Cant seem to remember how much oil the Omega takes on an oil change. Is it 7 litres?

Its 5.75 ltrs I always end up with a bit left over from the 6ltrs I buy :y

Yup  ;D

About 5.5 if the sump is well drained and the filter (screw on type) replaced  :y

The '4 for 3' offer (20 l) allows three full changes, as its about 5.75 l per change  :y

As said, it all depends on how much you can get out as some will always remain no matter how long you leave it draining, I'd stick just over 5 litres in and then run the engine for around 10 seconds, then switch off and leave for 5 minutes or so and check the dip stick.
Usually it takes a litre to get from MIN to MAX on the dipstick...

Sometimes the clean, new oil is hard to see on the dipstick  :o

I've done nearly 6 litres (probably 5.75) and its around 3/4 the way up the dip stick.

Anyway, at least I know its somewhere between 5.5 - 6 litres for next time.
