In fairness to Cameroon (Shit that hurt), I don't believe he was doing that rather, he was suggesting that other people might, and asserting that he thought that was not a good thing.

In the early 2000s - they where alot of internet rumours that Philip Schofield and Jason Donovan were secretly a couple. Schofield always dismissed it.

I was listening to the debate about this on Jeremy Whine earlier and was amazed at the amount of people that thought Scofield had done the right thing!! 

The list could have read, Micky Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Popeye, Tom and Jerry.... and Cameron was right not to even look at it!!! He probably should have slapped Scofield down more, but I guess that he permently has an eye towards the opinion polls! 

Until people are investigated, tried and if found guilty as charged, punished under the due process of the law, it's all speculation and conjecture!!  The last thing we need with such an emotive subject is trial by TV, especially with an idiot like Philip Scofield acting as Judge, Jury and Executioner!!!   

They could at least get Jeremy Kyle to do that job!!!! 

Jeremy Vine shows all that is wrong with the BBC currently, poor, sensationalist lead "journalism".

All these retards do is ensure the CPS cannot touch anyone who is guilty, because they'd never get a fair trial.

Trouble is, we, in the UK, have a now significant proportion of trash in our society who love this trash-tv, and can't get enough of it. Matters not if its based on properly researched material, or if Newsnight found it on a twitter stream. And with ratings being everything...


Thus, may I start with a proposal? Anyone caught listening/watching such trash should immediately seek an appointment with a bullet?

Sadly even the DT now have taken to the sensationalist route, with many very badly written articles. So there is no quality newspaper in the UK anymore, just some are not quite as bad as others. 

Personally, I think it is time to scrap the TV licence, so the BBC ivory towers has a does of commercial reality, just like the Guardian, where the luvies there haven't got the business sense to actually make it make a profit. It lost £60 million last year even though it is stuffed with public sector outreach, equality, 5 day worker adverts.
