Nectar points

 ::) Over the years I have collected just over 16 thousand Nectar points on my card (my wife has loads too on her seperate one but she uses them for shopping with )and wonder if I can use them to pay for my fuel at the Sainsbury's BP petrol station? Anyone done it before????  ;)

You can use them to pay for fuel at sainsburys,bp give points away,but in sure you can't spend them there tho,you could ask tho just incase :y

I always turn down nectar points  ::) i guess they add up over the years so mite look into collecting them ... surpose your limited to what you can spend them on  :-\

Nope .. get the value knocked off your shopping in Sainsbury's ... Mrs E has well over £80 on hers that she will use up on the xmas shop  :)

Great....This is the response I had from Sainsbury's and from Nectar about spending my Nectar points on fuel.

Your current points balance: 16,757

Thanks for your email regarding redeeming points.

I can confirm that you are able to redeem your points in a Sainsbury's petrol station for fuel as long as you have made a transaction at that garage in the last 12 months.


Hope that helps anyone else to save a bit of the old money instead of it being used of it to buy gifts....

I always cash mine in for Amazon vouchers. People always want junk from Amazon this time of year ;D

Last lot bought the majority of my media center :D
