  Over the years I have collected just over 16 thousand Nectar points on my card (my wife has loads too on her seperate one but she uses them for shopping with )and wonder if I can use them to pay for my fuel at the Sainsbury's BP petrol station? Anyone done it before?

You can use them to pay for fuel at sainsburys,bp give points away,but in sure you can't spend them there tho,you could ask tho just incase

I always turn down nectar points  i guess they add up over the years so mite look into collecting them ... surpose your limited to what you can spend them on

Nope .. get the value knocked off your shopping in Sainsbury's ... Mrs E has well over £80 on hers that she will use up on the xmas shop

Great....This is the response I had from Sainsbury's and from Nectar about spending my Nectar points on fuel.

Thanks for your email regarding redeeming points.

I can confirm that you are able to redeem your points in a Sainsbury's petrol station for fuel as long as you have made a transaction at that garage in the last 12 months.

Hope that helps anyone else to save a bit of the old money instead of it being used of it to buy gifts....
