ducati monster 600m
« on: 26 November 2012, 17:21:07 »

Just in the process of buying one off a friend thats had it for a fair few years but for the last two year it has sat in his garden unused under a cover just wondered if any knows what kind of things i should do when i get my hands on it to bring it back upto scratch. I want it as more of a project as with the young kids ive stopped most of my hobbies and just want something to take my mind away for a couple of hours every now and then

Do the cambelts!!! they hate being stood. Even worse in the cold and the wet. Electrics will probably need sorting. Nothing serious just dirty connections. Then it will be just a case of cleaning and lubing. Valve clearances are a right ballsache so check at what mileage they were done.
